Mike McWilliams joined JMCPA this season, taking the lead on individual tax returns while bringing a senior finance and operations background to the team. A retired Finance Partner at MRIGLOBAL, Mike spent his career as a results-oriented finance and operations leader, producing results for organizations across the Kansas City region.
He and Josh first worked together nearly two decades ago at H&R Block, partnering across Financial Planning & Analysis and Business Development — a collaboration now renewed at the firm. Mike pairs big-picture financial insight with the hands-on, detail-focused work that individual clients count on, and his move onto individual returns lets the firm's CPAs concentrate their time on business clients.
